Salary - MPG + 2 SEN points
We are looking to appoint a Class Teacher to join this successful day school for pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (KS2 - KS4). The Governors wish to appoint for April 2009 a Class Teacher to deliver the curriculum to a class group consisting of pupils from KS2 and 3. The successful candidate will promote the development of literacy and numeracy. They will need to be committed to the vision and ethos of this successful school. We have achieved a great deal in the past 5 years and are looking to continue to develop all aspects of our provision in the future. You will:
~ be an excellent classroom practitioner.
~ be used to personalised planning and teaching in order to meet individual pupil needs.
~ have the capacity to inspire and motivate pupils within your class.
~ have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
~ contribute to the schools vision for the future.
We will offer you:
~ A school which Ofsted, in November 2007 identified as good with significant outstanding features.
~ A school that has recently been designated by the National College of School Leadership as a National Support School and our Head Teacher is a National Leader of Education.
